THRIVE is developing evidence, tools and guidance to help Europe support healthier, more reflective use of digital technology in schools. Results will be added here as soon as they have been validated and approved for public release.
AdWell
The European Adolescence Well-being Intervention Framework translates THRIVE evidence into practical recommendations for schools and policymakers. It connects reflective activities with the mechanisms they are intended to support and the contexts in which they are most useful.
Planned resources include national playbooks and EU-level guidance with adaptable routines, implementation advice and policy recommendations.
ORBITA
ORBITA is an open-source, AI-supported self-reflection tool for young people. It uses structured prompts, intelligent tutoring and adaptive feedback to support reflection on digital practices, learning and well-being.
ORBITA is co-designed and tested in school settings. Its development follows child-centred and value-sensitive design principles, with attention to privacy, accessibility, safeguarding and classroom feasibility.
E-well+ Connect
E-well+ Connect is a European school digital well-being platform and network. It connects schools, ministries, educational authorities, teacher associations, civil society organisations and researchers around practical resources, training and peer exchange.
The platform helps users discover and apply AdWell, ORBITA, national playbooks, policy guidance and school implementation resources.
Open evidence and resources
THRIVE is committed to open science while protecting participants. Planned outputs include open-access publications, anonymised FAIR data where ethically and legally possible, reproducible analysis pipelines, open-source software, teacher training and policy briefs.
