THRIVE Website Cookie Policy

Last updated: 27th October 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how the THRIVE project uses cookies on https://learn2thrive.eu (the “Website”). It complements our Privacy Policy https://learn2thrive.eu/privacy-policy, which explains how we handle personal data in general. We follow the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and the GDPR: we only set non-essential cookies with your prior consent.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They help the website work, remember your choices, or measure how it is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage or tracking pixels, are covered by this policy too.

2. How we use cookies

We use only two categories of cookies. We do not use advertising, marketing or social media tracking cookies.

  • Strictly necessary cookies keep the Website working and remember your cookie choices. They do not require consent and cannot be switched off.
  • Statistics cookies (Google Analytics) help us understand how visitors use the Website, so we can improve it. They are only set if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner.

3. Your choices and consent

When you first visit the Website, a cookie banner asks for your consent. “Accept” and “Reject” are equally easy to choose, and no statistics cookies are set before you decide. Rejecting cookies does not limit your use of the Website.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings”. Withdrawing consent does not affect any processing that took place before. We ask for your consent again after 12 months or when we change the cookies we use.

4. Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) explain how in their help pages. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the Website works.

To opt out of Google Analytics on all websites, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available from Google.

5. Third-party providers

Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. More information is in Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the cookies we use or when the law changes. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
